Nikki's journey unfolds as a trailblazing leader, beginning with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Psychology from The Open University. Armed with a Diploma in Oncology Nursing from the University of Cambridge and subsequent registration as a General Nurse, she embarked on a remarkable career.

Her leadership roles include serving as Gynaecology Oncology Specialist Nurse at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she played a pivotal role in pioneering the cervical cancer vaccine. As CEO of Age UK Camden, Nikki earned acclaim for expanding specialist services during the Covid-19 pandemic, earning her the British Empire Medal.

Nikki's expertise extends beyond the healthcare sector. As a consultant, she provided strategic leadership and advisory services to major clients, including Breast Cancer Care London and Big C Cancer Charity. Her commitment to education is evident in roles as an Associate Lecturer at The Open University and Norfolk County Council, where she delved into health studies and research.

Nikki's recent tenure as CEO of Age UK Camden showcased her proficiency in change management, organisational growth, and impactful leadership. She brings these skills to her current role as CEO of Deafblind UK, where she envisions expanding services, developing specialist initiatives, and ensuring the organisation's impact reaches new heights.

In addition to her executive roles, Nikki actively contributes to the community as a Board Member of Kett's Bookshop and the Chair of the Cancer Forum at the Royal College of Nursing, championing the best care for cancer patients.

Nikki's educational journey culminated in a Master's degree in Education from the University of East Anglia, where her dissertation focused on supporting families when a parent is diagnosed with cancer.
